The pretty, charming and dreamy eyed long-lost princess of the blockbuster movie Satyam Sivam Sundaram, ASWATHI MENON, is getting ready for a powerful comeback after 15 long years to Fashion and Film Industry. The scintillating South Indian actress had taken a break from her career and had moved to Dubai post her marriage where she worked as a marketing manager in a real estate firm.
She kept herself connected to the theatrical world by being part of several productions under the community theatres in Dubai. Meanwhile she also obtained a Diploma in Film Acting from New York Film Academy, Abudhabi.
Aswathi made her debut through the movie Satyam Sivam Sundaram in 2000. Subsequently, she was seen starring in several other blockbuster movies like Onnaman, Savithriyude Aranjanam and the tamil remake of the Malayalam movie Thenkasi Pattanam.
After her role in the movie Onnaman in 2002, she had completely vanished from the film industry until lately, when she was seen appearing once again in the Fahad Fasil starrer “Role Models” directed by Rafi. She was seen in the film in a short but quite pivotal role of a Goan lady named Lucy.
A gifted dancer and singer, Aswathi has also proven her proficiency in hosting as well as in voiceover. She has stunned the audience, appearing as the showstopper on the ramp for shows hosted by Seematti and Weekender in Dubai. She is now looking forward to coming back into the Fashion and film industry with the wholehearted support of her husband who has encouraged her to follow her dreams rather than stick on to a monotonous routine of an office.
