A year ago Sudhanshu Suraj, a tall, nice-looking young man, was taking an evening walk in the neighbourhood of Four Bungalows, Mumbai. He stopped by a studio, named Jeet, and stepped in to ask if they were hiring any dance teachers.
As he walked in, Sonia Mayers, a well-known fashion guru in Bollywood, was training a group of young models for her upcoming fashion event, Mr. And Miss Mumbai. It took him a few minutes to figure out it was not a dance class and he turned around to leave.
Interrupted, Sonia Mayers enquired, ‘What are you doing here?’
He nervously replied, ‘I am sorry Ma’am; I came here to know if you were hiring dance teachers.’
Impressed by his youthful look, Sonia Mayers instantly sensed his potential to be a successful model and asked, ‘Do you want to do modelling?’
To this question, his reply was, ‘I am sorry Ma’am, I got in by mistake and I am leaving’. Now she was slightly losing her temper and said, ‘That is not the answer to my question’.
‘Do you want to do modelling?’she asked again.
He said ‘YES’
Followed by this encounter, Sudhanshu Suraj walked in Sonia Mayers’ fashion show for the first time (Ahmadabad Fashion Week 2016). Since then he has been taking part in a number of shows by Sonia Mayers and other popular designers alongside plenty of photo shoots for top-notched brands like Avon jewellery.

Sudhanshu has worked for several reputed designers from India as well; Kapil Banthia, Salman N Sanjay, Marry Fernandes and Harold are a few of them.
His days are getting busier and busier with many upcoming shows and events: Made in India 2017 by Sonia Mayers (fixed model throughout the country), Modelling show in January 2018, Goa, an album in December by Pavan Joshi and a number of TV series as well.
Born in Panipat, Haryana, Sudhanshu Suraj is a professional dancer, model, and a young actor. He has always wanted to be an actor ever since he won the first prize in a school level acting competition as a first-grader.
Being a huge Hrithik Roshan fan, Sudhanshu learned the dance moves on his own watching Bollywood film songs. Once he graduated out of college, he fully devoted himself to dancing instead of studying further.
By 2008, Sudhanshu moved to Mumbai and started swaying audiences as a professional dancer. As he was slowly building his reputation, he lost his beloved father. His father, who was a famous lawyer, always encouraged him to pursue his passion.
Having spent some time with his family, he desperately flew back to Mumbai. While doing dance shows, he also assisted Laadi, a professional wedding choreographer and choreographed throughout the country.
Unable to find right opportunities, in 2012 Sudhanshu miserably went back home and joined a school as a dance teacher. Although he was happy at school teaching young vibrant children to dance, four years later he was beginning to lose interest in teaching. Encouraged by his mom and siblings, he quit his teaching job and headed for Mumbai once again to pursue his life goals.
The encounter with Sonia Mayers in 2016 was a turning-point in Sudhanshu Suraj’s life and set him on the right track to be an actor.
Now he is all set to be a leading Bollywood actor walking at fashion shows and playing roles in TV series.
As a young actor and model, it is vital to stay in shape. He is always up before day break and off to gym for morning workouts. Every day, he spends nearly five hours working out and doing Crossfit. He has been a Crossfit instructor too.
Sudhanshu relies on books to stay motivated always. He likes occasional motorbike trips to refresh his mind and body. His favourite destinations include Delhi to Leh Ladakh, a beautiful region in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. Camping, cooking and going to parties are some of his favourite leisure time activities. He loves green vegetables and boiled chicken.
In future, he wishes to live with his family in a large house in Mumbai.
