The International Fashion Week Dubai,organized by Opulence Events LLC at the Sofitel Palm – Dubai between 5th and 7th April, 2018, was yet another hat-trick success. The event brought in some of the top notch Fashionistas from various countries who utilised this platform in the best of ways by showcasing some of their best and exclusive works.

Season 6 SS 18 featured the second edition of the International Fashion Awards at the International Fashion Week Dubai S6, and awards were given away for various categories such as Sustainable Fashion Award- Kris Barber, Fashion Platform Award- Future Fashion -Ms. Ayesha Siddequa, Best Fashion Media- Wassim Mandil- MMM International, Best Model of the Year – Nina, Best Fashion Innovation Award- Salima El Boussouni, Best Emerging Fashion Designer- Abdallah Kashman
The first and the Second prizes for the Best Emerging Fashion Designer was won by Sirin Al Baghada and Mona.
The Fashion week was also a spotlight on the runway models that included Miss Kosovo, Miss USSR, Miss Poland, Miss Italia and Miss Morocco. Farida Temraz, one of the world’s renowned designers from Egypt, concluded the show with her unique high end collections. Temraza is recognized by their unique and elegant designs that perfectly sculpt and enhance a woman’s silhouette using glamorous details.
Drawing inspiration from a plethora of cultures, Creative Director and brand founder, Farida Temraz, designs luxury collections fabricated with the finest materials and embroideries. The event also featured hands on work shop for Sustainable Fashion conducted by Kris Barber & Ayesha Siddequa.
Refined products exhibited at pop-up shops included; 3D video and Photography by Marek from Poland, High end leather and pure leather products from Gilly International- Belgium and High end Couture Fashion by Naz Couture from Baku and other fashion brands.
The sponsors of the fashion week were Danube group, Sensation club, Aqua Water, Gourmet Chocolate Giovanni, Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Zero makeup, AlFAPARF Milano, Solo Tree, Brilliant Smile and American University of the Emirates.
There were about 5000 members who attended the show and the announcement was made on the launch of International Fashion week Paris that is scheduled from September 29th and 30th, 2018.
